Bridgeport, VA Police Department T&E Report
Dec 28, 2019
Bridgeport, Virginia’s police department contacted Kopfjäger looking for a new tripod shooting system. The law enforcement sales division at Kopfjäger was more than willing to oblige. They sent the Bridgeport, VA PD the K700 Tripod and Reaper Grip system. Sergeant C.W. Barto reports back:
The sniper/observer team used the tripod system while shooting targets at both 100 and 200 yards. Rifles used for the testing were Remington 700s, chambered in .308 Winchester, shooting Federal Gold Medal ammo. The tripod system performed flawlessly, making 100-yard shots very easy. All shots were taken from the standing position. Shooters found the tripod very stable and traversing from the left to right was smooth. The overall opinion of the product is one that is very well made and provides marksmen with a tool for making precision shots from the standing position. I have also attached photos of rifle shot groups made using the Kopfjäger tripod and Reaper Grip. I would highly recommend this product to any marksmen/observer units who are in the market for such a system.
The Bridgeport Police Department’s Sniper Team was looking for a tripod shooting system to be used by the department’s sniper/observers. Our department contacted Sellmark Corporation for the purpose of testing and evaluating the Kopfjäger tripod and Reaper Grip. We received the product for testing and was immediately impressed by the quality construction of the system. I was contacted by Brian Clark of Sellmark on the day we received the item to make sure: one we received the item and two if I had any questions about it. I found the company very helpful and Brain answered any questions that I had.
Kopfjäger thanks the Bridgeport, VA police department for an honest report and their dedication to protecting their community by putting their lives on the line every day.
